Local Mixed Tape is a project bringing the Rhode Island community closer to local Singer / Songwriters and Bands by means of performing in new spaces and using this intersection to learn about new or existing talent in the area.
Local Mixed Tape is also an online data base for artists and venues to meet and promote by cross-networking. Visitors can also check the Local Mixed Tape calendar or Artist page to learn more about who they heard, and where they can see them next.
Finally, Local Mixed Tape is working with the AS220 Youth Studio Digital Photography Department to promote the New England music scene. Many of the photos taken by the students will be featured on the website.
