The new club is a versatile music room booking rock, folk, punk, blues and more. Longtime booking agent Jack Reich comments, "The Met is the mid-sized room Rhode Island has been missing for some time." The club will serve food and offer free parking.
AS220 is a non-profit community arts space in downtown Providence. Our mission is to provide an unjuried and uncensored forum for the arts. If you live in the state of Rhode Island, you will get an opportunity to exhibit or perform at AS220.

In communities across the country, non-profit, public access sailing programs are making learning to sail and recreational boating affordable and accessible to ordinary folks.
Several years ago, it struck a group of local sailors that the people of Rhode Island should have access to a community boating program. Organized and implemented entirely by volunteers, this visionary plan was set into action. The Community Boating Center (CBC) at Providence's India Point Park opened in June 1994 with a small fleet of boats, a few docks and a boat storage shed

Every Monday, The Apartment hosts an event called “Drop-out Night”. Kris Hansen, Jon Tierney and Daniel Chase host and emcee the unique show. There are often other artists filtered throughout the night, but never will you be disappointed.

The last thursday of ever month, The Salon hosts a Singer / Songwriter Open Mic. However, The open mic is only open to original pieces, and serves an an opportunity to meet rising contributors to the songwriter circuit.
